Made with apples, sultanas and a glug of real ale, this chutney is delicious on a chunky sandwich and tastes great with a succulent pork fillet or in a lamb hotpot. Try this with... Apple & Ale Hearty Lamb Hotpot. Simply heat some oil in a generous sized pan and saut� 1 large sliced onion with 250g of lamb gigot, cut into bite sized pieces. Cook until lamb is sealed with a good colour. Add 2 chopped carrots, 3 chopped potatoes and 1 small chopped turnip and cook for 5 minutes. Add 3 generous tablespoons of Apple & Ale chutney along with 400 mls of water and dried mixed herbs. Cover and cook for 30-40 minutes. Serve when the lamb is tender and the juices have thickened a little. - No artificial colours or flavourings - Suitable for vegetarians - May contain traces of nuts
