Alexander's German Eatery - A stylish restaurant in the heart of Ekkamai Soi 12. Our German-European cuisine is liberated from the dusty image of traditional house-cooking and our mission statement stands for refined and modern.

 

We are offering dining experiences in four different environments where our patrons can choose what they prefer: the Bavarian Beer Garden with our pork knuckle shed; the Knight’s Bar for enjoying delicious cold cuts and cheeses; the Prussian Corner with a rustical-contemporary atmosphere; and a wonderful charming Fireplace Room with fine-dining setting.

 

Every day more and more locals as tourists decide to enjoy an inspiring New German Cuisine in our trendy restaurant to spoil their taste buds. We are looking forward to welcome you as well!!!

 Alexander von Wnuk-Lipinski

Chef Alex brings with him over 25 years of culinary experience from Germany, Austria and Australia. He started out his career as an apprentice chef at the Hotel Restaurant Deutsches Haus in Obernkirchen, Germany. After gaining more practice at the historical Gasthof Obermaier in Munich, he made his way across the ocean to Australia where he gained more experience by working with celebrity chefs Mark Best, Dietmar Sawyere and Justin North and in restaurants such as The Pavilion in Sydney, The Restaurant @ The Art Gallery NSW in Sydney and The Doltone House in Sydney, impressing his guests and celebrities such as Jimmy Barnes, Russel Crowe, Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett and HRE Prince Edward of England with his unique cooking skills.

Prior to setting up his restaurant,  Alexander von Wnuk-Lipinski was appointed as executive chef and general manager for Bei Otto Bangkok. Also he held the Head Chef position at Dicke Sophie restaurant in Munich being responsible for the restaurants and catering kitchen operation.
