Thuringian sausage has been produced for hundreds of years. Only finely minced pork is used in our production. Most of the meat comes from the upper part from around the shoulder which has a low fat content. In addition to salt and pepper, caraway, marjoram, and garlic are used. Our pre-poached Thüringer Bratwurst is best to be barbecued until gold-brown...some charred spots are desired.
